13th Annual Nations of San Diego International Dance Festival:
Don't miss the largest ethnic dance festival in Southern California! Nations of San Diego will showcase the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the regions by featuring exciting dance troupes with more than 250 dancers and musicians live on one stage. Cultures and countries represented this year include the Philippines, Nigeria, India, Mexico, Brazil, Ghana, Ireland, Argentina, China and the United States (subject to change). 2007 Southern California Beach Soccer Championship:
The tournament will feature 125 teams ranging from boys and girls under 8, to open, co-ed, and military divisions. Uniforms are "come as you are" on the 30-by-45 year field in the sand. A similar tournament has been played on Virginia Beach for 13 years.

24th Annual Indian Fair:
10am - 430pm. American Indians from the U.S. gather at the Museum of Man in Balboa Park to demonstrate tribal dances and sell arts, crafts and ethnic food. Artists will sell their handmade jewelry, pottery, basketry, beadwork, clothing, textiles, musical instruments, and cultural items. All art sold at the fair is created entirely by the artists showing the work. The FREE fair will spotlight more than 100 performers and artists representing dozens of tribes. As in past years, the fair will feature a juried competition to be held Friday afternoon, May 18. Prizes of $250 will be awarded in categories including weaving, beadwork, pottery, woodcarving, jewelry, sculpture and painting/mixed media, with a Best of Show award of $1000.

14th Annual Sicilian Festival in Little Italy:

The streets of San Diego's Little Italy are filled with the music, costumes, food and flavor of Sicily as part of the 14th Annual Sicilian Festival, a celebration of the city's Sicilian heritage.
