9/8 Full-moon walk on Scripps Pier: La Jolla - Join the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography for this special evening. During this moonlit walk along the 1,090-foot pier, participants will learn about the structure's history, dissect a squid, make marine organisms glow-in-the-dark, collect plankton, observe ocean conditions and study the nocturnal habits of marine life.
