Little Italy Invitational Stickball 3-Day Event:
Stickball teams from New York, Puerto Rico, Florida, and New Jersey will compete against our local stickball athletes. The game is played when opposing teams use sticks to maneuver a ball to opposite sites to score for points. Time 8am-8pm.

7th Annual Multiple Sclerosis Challenge Walk:
This event is a 3-day, 50-mile walk from Carlsbad to downtown San Diego. Participants can experience a journey of spirit and physical stamina. Proceeds will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Time 7am-1pm.

Fiesta Island Time Trial Series - 2-Day Event:
Cyclists are coming to Fiesta Island to compete at cycling. The event offers professional, recreational, and young riders an ideal location to experience competitive cycling in a safe and controlled environment. The racers will cycle laps against the clock until they complete their distance. Time 7am-9am.

Health & Learning Center Health Fair:
Persons of all ages can learn how to have a healthy lifestyle. The event offers information about health related problems and services and includes blood pressure screenings, doctor consultations, and grocery giveaways. Time 12pm - 4pm.

1st Annual Bike the Bay:
You're welcome to join a non-competitive 30-mile bike ride that will circle the San Diego Bay and go along an offshore bike path and cross over the Coronado Bay Bridge. Time 7am-12pm.

The La Jolla Rough Water Swim has been a summertime tradition since 1916 and nationally ranked #11 as America's premier open water swimming competition event. Time 9am-4pm.

1st Annual Brazilian Day Festival:
A festive Brazilian street fair will take place in Pacific Beach showcasing Brazilian culture. The event offers exotic food, unique handicrafts, martial arts, costumed dancers, percussion drum music, and an inflatable jump for kids. Time 12pm-6pm.

Senior Dance Fall Festival:
Seniors can come alone or bring a sweetheart or friend to this dance to celebrate the season of Fall. Everyone can have a fun afternoon mingling and dancing to ballroom and music from the 50's, 60's, 70's performed by "Billy Harper & the Hot Shots" band. Light refreshments will be available. 3rd Annual Freedom Walk:
Today marks the seventh year when America faced tragic events on 9/11. Today, you can walk in honor of the victims and reflect and appreciate the freedoms we have in America. A tribute to past and present American veterans will also be remembered on this day. Time 6pm-8pm.

World Vision Walk Their Walk:
The people of Zambia in Africa are in need of fresh water. You can help them by joining this 12-mile walk-a-thon where the proceeds will help to fund freshwater wells. Time 7am-3pm.

18th Annual Paddle for Clean Water:
You can rally support to have clean unpolluted oceans by bringing your surfboard, bodyboard, kayak, or canoe to the Ocean Beach surf zone. Time 9am-6pm.

43rd Annual San Diego Bayfair (Powerboat Regatta) - 3-Day Event:
An extreme watersport event will take place on the water at Mission Bay where sleek powerboats and hydroplanes will race so fast that they nearly become airborne. Time 7am-6:30pm.

14th Annual San Diego Festival of Beer:
This is it! An adult-oriented (age 21+) beer tasting event that features approximately 120 different beers from 55 micro breweries. Hot food, novelty merchandise, and non-alchohol beverages will be available. Bring your friends, drink beer, listen to music, eat, mingle, and dance in the street! Time 6pm-11:59pm.

17th Annual AHA Heart Walk:
Participants from corporate, civic, and health care industries will form walking teams and collect pledges on behalf of the AHA to help fight against heart disease. The event is a 3-mile sponsorship walk at Balboa Park that includes a health expo with products, information, and activities. Time 6am-10am.

1st Annual Everyday Heroes 5K Walk:
This walking event is held in honor of police officers who are our everyday heroes. The proceeds from the walk will help to raise funds to provide an opportunity for San Diego Police Officers to achieve homeownership. The event will take place in Point Loma in the vicinity of Liberty Station. Time 7:30am-10:30am.

I Love a Clean San Diego:
Do you have time on your hands and enjoy the great outdoors? Then join a group of volunteers who are coming together to help clean up Lake Murray. It's a great way to make new friends. The creaky door of a haunted hotel is opening and something is becoming for you to go inside. The Haunted Trail of Balboa Park 28-Day Event:

National Hunting & Fishing Day:
Today, the public is allowed to indulge in the sport of hunting and fishing without having to pay for a State Hunting & Fishing License. However, this opportunity is mainly for fishing in San Diego and does require a Lake Permit. Time 6am-6pm.

27th Annual Adams Ave Street Fair 2-Day Event:
This popular street fair offers a continuous mix of music on 7-stages with rock n' roll, country, jazz, blues, zydeco, and reggae. There will be 3-beer gardens and over 400-vendors offering great merchandise and exotic foods. Time 11am-9pm.

This cycling event is offered as a qualifying event for the California State Championship Senior Games that will be held in 2010. Time 7am-10am.

19th Annual AIDS Walk/Run:
This event was established in 1989 and is the largest HIV/AIDS fundraiser in San Diego County. The event offers a 5K walk and a 10K run at beautiful Balboa Park. A health fest will accompany the event with displays, health information, HIV testing, exhibits, refreshments, and a Kids Zone. Time 7am-12pm.
